FUNCTION
This PCB can accept up to eight analog inputs and 24 digital inputs. It can support up to two different acquisition rates and each analog input can be scanned at one of these rates. It has two, 12 bit analog to digital converters per board.
Automatic (0.35 * sample rate) anti-ailiasing filtering (6th order Butterworth low pass) is applied to each analog input.
Digitized input data is then transmitted via a 10-pin ribbon cable to either a MULDEX Board, or to a fiber optic transceiver board.
Calibration of an analog input is performed by connecting the supplied RS-232 cable to the 9 pin D connector on this board, and to a computer running the AUTOCAL software. This cable is a standard 1 to 1 wiring (not a null modem).

Not all versions of this board are interchangeable.
Different versions need to be programmed in the configuration of the DFR.
This board has an EPROM that might have to be changed if an update is released.
